The Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University obtained the Accreditation of the Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) granted by the American Accreditation Council for Pharmaceutical Education, thus becoming the first junior Faculty in the official Jordanian universities to obtain such a prestigious and reliable certificate. The President of the University, Professor Islam Massad, expressed Yarmouk's pride in this achievement, acknowledging the great efforts made by the Faculty of Pharmacy to fulfill the University’s vision and plan concerning international accreditation and quality assurance. The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mervat Al-Sous, stated that such a great achievement was the outcome of the cumulative efforts made by all cadres of the Faculty to develop its educational systems and research studies. She then added that obtaining the ACPE contributes to providing distinguished pharmaceutical education and keeping pace with the global scientific developments in all pharmaceutical fields.
