"Yarmouk Media" Won the Third Place in the Media Competition "They Dealt with My Topic Objectively"

The Faculty of Mass Communication at Yarmouk University won the third place in the media competition organized by the Supreme Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities entitled "They Dealt with my Topic Objectively". The competition’s results were announced by His Highness Prince Mired bin Raad, President of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) in the presence of Her Highness Princess Dina Mired and the Minister of Social Development, Wafaa Bani Mustafa.

Students Salem Abu Dalo and Kenana Battah from the Radio and Television Department won the third place in the visual media category for their television report titled "Slanted Angle". The students noted that their work aims at promoting the integration of persons with disabilities into society and providing them with moral support in a way that contributes to achieving their aspirations and ambitions. They then acknowledged the role of the Faculty of Mass Communication, represented by its academic, administrative, and technical cadres, in providing students with an educational and inspirational environment that motivates students to be creative and productive. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Tahseen Mansour, said that winning the third place in such a competition is an achievement that the Faculty is proud of, emphasizing that the competition includes students and professionals like Jordanian TV channels and television production companies. He also pointed out that the achievement of his Faculty students reflects the pivotal and important role of the Faculty in providing Jordanian, Arab, and regional media institutions with scientifically and practically distinguished competencies that are able to engage and succeed in the labor market.
